A Poem in the Style of Anne Carson,

Town of Childhood
The warm Sun.
Always shines.
Laughter rings.
And smiles are seen.
Families spread out.
Eating picnics on the lawn.
There is no such thing as regret.
And worries don't exist.

The only memories kept.
Are the happy ones.

  1. I feel like it was cut too short.
I really love the begining though.
Expand a little more by maybe adding more to the family part.

  3. I agree with Okie.
    I really like the lines,

There is no such thing as regret.
    And worries don't exist.

I do feel like it could be added onto; Jackie is right about it seeming cut short.
It's really cute, though. It has a really happy feel to it. I like it. [:
